As a small, independent property, we ask for your understanding in respecting our cancellation, change and no-show policy. Please read carefully.

If you must change, shorten or cancel your reservation, please do so within the 48 hour requested time-frame for a full refund. If a reservation is cancelled or shortened after the cancellation period expires, the guest is responsible for full payment of the original reservation unless the room(s) is re-booked. Changes or cancellations must be made via phone or by email, and you must receive a confirmation email from Scenic Valley Motel. There are no refunds for early departure.

Re-booking Policy: If you cancel your reservation after the cancellation period expires, and you wish to re-book a room at a later date we will not charge the cancellation fee. 

Inclement Weather Policy: Please understand that we cannot be responsible for inclement weather or other causes for delays and cancellations at your point of origin or the locations you may connect through when traveling to visit us. We strongly advise you to check our cancellation policy if you are traveling during periods of possible inclement weather or you have other reasons to suspect you may need to cancel your reservation. A one-bed room allows for 2 guests, a two-bed room allows for 4 guests. The cabin allows for 3 guests.

An extra guest is allowed in any room by renting a roll-away bed for $10.

$10 charge per day for each pet - We do want to be pet-friendly, however this means extra cleaning (i.e. washing the comforter, twice vacuuming and wiping all items in the room down fully) as the next guest may be sensitive to dog or cat dander.

Please speak to the management about weekly rates, AARP or senior rates, military or veterans rates.

Check-in is anytime between 3 and 10 p.m.  If you come earlier you may be allowed to get in your room if the room has been cleaned and the owners are available. The owners will be available for check in until 10 p.m.

Check out is 11 am unless you ask for late checkout, in which case it would be Noon.

All 13 rooms are smoke free, and just a mile from the beautiful Mississippi.  Each one has a flat screen TV w/cable, Wi-Fi, coffee maker, refridgerator, microwave, and A/C.  If you have forgotten your shampoo just ask us!  We try to provide everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. 



Clean, well-behaved dogs or cats are allowed at the Proprietor's discretion so please talk to them ahead of time if you are bringing a pet.  Please follow pet rules. -- additional $10/night for each pet. If you bring a pet without notifying the motel staff you will be charged anyway.

Rules: No pet left unattended at any time. Please pick up after your pet.
